How to Connect Your Social Media Accounts

Raye helps you show proof of your hard work to local customers. You must connect your accounts in your dashboard so Raye can post directly to Facebook and Instagram for you.

Step 1: Add your channels to your dashboard

  1. Log in to your dashboard at site.vu/dashboard
  2. Click Socials in the main menu.
  3. Click + Add Social Channel.
  4. Choose your social media site, such as Facebook.
  5. Type your profile username or your full web address (for example, https://facebook.com/my-business).

Step 2: Connect with Meta

  1. Click Connect Meta and wait a few seconds.
  2. Log in to your Facebook account if asked.
  3. Click Continue as [Your Name].
  4. Pick the Instagram account you use for your work, then click Next.
  5. Select your Facebook Page, then click Next.
  6. Keep every switch set to YES. This lets your marketing assistant post your photos without errors.
  7. Click Done, then click OK.

Your dashboard will now show that your account is Connected.

How to fix common connection problems

  • Missing Instagram Account: Raye needs a free Professional account to post for you. Open the Instagram app on your phone. Go to Settings, tap Account type and tools, and tap Switch to professional account.
  • Unlinked Accounts: Make sure your Instagram account links directly to your Facebook Page. You can check this in your Instagram profile settings under Edit Profile.
  • Missing Facebook Page: You must have full control of your Facebook Page. Ask the page owner to make you an Admin if you cannot see your page.
  • Missing Permissions: If Raye cannot post your photos later, click Connect Meta again in your dashboard. Click Edit Settings inside Meta and turn every switch to YES.
