Troy Hawke: Never Stop, Never Change! Live in Southend-on-Sea

A Dapper Evening with the Greeters Guild President

Comedy enthusiasts in Southend-on-Sea are in for an unforgettable treat as Milo McCabe's iconic alter ego, Troy Hawke, brings his critically acclaimed tour Never Stop, Never Change! to the seaside stage. Donning his signature purple smoking jacket, silk cravat, and exquisitely waxed moustache, Hawke delivers an exhilarating burst of vintage sophistication blended with uproarious modern wit.

Renowned globally as the founding member of the Greeters Guild, Hawke shot to viral fame by showering unsuspecting members of the public with lavish, eloquent compliments outside high-street stores. In this full-length live show, he channels that same joyous energy into a thoroughly polished and delightfully eccentric stand-up routine.

What to Expect from Never Stop, Never Change!

Never Stop, Never Change! showcases Hawke at his sharpest, navigating the absurdities of the contemporary world through the lens of an Errol Flynn-era gentleman adventurer. The performance combines razor-sharp improvised audience banter with meticulously structured storytelling, unravelling bizarre conspiracies and Scrabble-based revelations with theatrical flair.

Audiences can look forward to an evening packed with signature elements:

• Bespoke interactions and good-natured comedic banter tailored directly to the Southend crowd.
• Unabashedly high-energy character comedy exploring themes of modern anxiety, polite heroism, and vintage charm.
• Impeccably timed monologues delivered with Hawke's trademark mid-Atlantic cadence.
• The relentless infectious optimism that has earned him sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
